Ahmedabad, Nov  17, 2013, 3 pm at Science City, Science City Road, off Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway

Energy consumption, energy saving and renewable energy systems are common global challenges in society, economy and research. The symposium provides a brilliant insight of a long-term scientific collaboration between India and Germany. With our public survey presentation – made by three Indian research institutions (IISc, Dept. of Mgmt, Bangalore; NID Subsidiary Bangalore; and DCRUST, Murthal) and one German university ( University of Applied Sciences , Dept. of Architecture and Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science – HS-OWL Lemgo and Detmold) in 2012 and 2013 – we can provide latest insights of energy consumption behavior, awareness and public knowledge in the Indian urban middle class and the latest research results on affordable housing in India.

Faculty members, researchers, students, and professional and official experts who are related to energy issues and tasks are invited and welcome.
