Besides the energy recovery of waste by industry and the reuse of materials like paper, metal and plastic, increasingly new items, created from used materials are appearing in the market. Production efforts or collection activities in industry have a large impact on environmentalism, such as the reduction of CO2 emissions. Recycling Design is only a small part of quantitative environmental impact, but its qualities lie in the creation of sustainable consumption, the communication of environmental problems,  such as the ecological footprint by design  (not only endless speech and moral writings), expanding creativity to the user and producer, and can be combined with diverse social benefits. The projects presented from Germany aim to reintegrate people into the labour market and to sensitise people to recycling in a consumer-driven society. On the other hand recycling is a daily routine for many industries and necessary in implementing economic production. A key note speech, followed by more specific lectures provided the base for the discussion on the situations in our countries further cooperation opportunities and future projects.
