Prof. Dr. Jürgen Jasperneite

4 course hours per week,
2 lectures,
2 labs
Credit points: 5

This course addresses the topic of communication in distributed systems,as they can be found in the area of intelligent technical systems. The aim of thiscourse is to learn about methods to investigate performance of largecomplex communication systems using discrete simulation methods. The labhas a particularly high priority in this course. You will get hands-onexperience on simulation of various communication aspects, and learn howto validate and verify simulation models. Moreover, you will studydifferent ways to capture and present simulation results.

You will find the course material before the lecture dates in time. Please notice that the material will be partially extended during thelecture.

The lecture and lab documents can be found in the  ILIAS. Additional course materials
