Gleichzeitig erfordern Forschungsfragen immer häufiger ein sehr gutes Verständnis der Systemumgebung und ein geeignetes Umfeld, um Forschungsergebnisse im Hinblick auf deren Systemkonformität zu untersuchen.nbsp; Am Beispiel der Lemgoer Modellfabrik, die gemeinsam vom Institut für industrielle Informationstechnik (inIT) der Hochschule OWL und dem Fraunhofer IOSB-INA im Lemgoer Centrum Industrial IT (CIIT) betrieben wird, sollen die Vorteile, aber auch die Grenzen eines aufwendigen apparativen Testfelds diskutiert werden. Für die Forschungsbereiche wandlungsfähige Maschinen, also der Erweiterung oder Anpassung von Maschinen mit minimaler Rüstzeit, dem energieoptimierten Betrieb von Maschinen und der Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion soll der Nutzen einer Modellfabrik für Forschungsfragen und die sich ergebende „Erlebbarkeit“ in diesem Beitrag vorgestellt werden}},

The cognitive radio (CR), which can adapt to the environmental changes by reconfiguring itself, can be used to implement intelligent radio systems to exploit the orthogonal nature of multiple dimensions of hyperspace to maintain the desired QoS in coexisting factory environments. We present initial results of a coexistence optimized CR which can exploit frequency and power, which are two of several dimensions of hyperspace, to improve its QoS in coexisting environments.}},

As a solution cognitive radio (CR) built on top of a reconfigurable platform like software defined radio (SDR) can provide the required system properties. We provide a literature survey about existing coexistence problems and solutions and implement a CR testbed for experimental investigations. It can exploit three dimensions of the hyperspace, which are frequency, time, and transmission power. This CR testbed is investigated in the coexistence of typical radio systems. The experimental results show satisfactory robustness against any of these interferers.}},

While the sequence of network devices can be determined with quite simple methods in networks with physical interconnections, these methods can not be applied in contactless networks. This work is based on a linear network topology using a backbone rail, which includes mechanisms for contactless energy and data transmission. The position estimation for each attached network device can be performed by determining a specific physical characteristic, which is altered along the rail extension. The proposed solution uses a capacitive resonant circuit to achieve a position detection.}},

  abstract     = {{This paper describes an approach for a contactless, inductively coupled resonant energy supply system for multiple, independent endpoints. Typical contactless inductive energy supplies in industrial applications involve a combination of one primary inverter/coil and one secondary coil with a rectifier and a load. The work presented in this paper issues a one-to-many-approach instead, which can be used for creating a contactless automation network, having multiple secondary side loads driven by only one primary coil. The challenge is to run such a system in resonance, as every participant potentially affects the resonant frequency, and therefore the overall system efficiency. The effects of multiple participants on the resonant frequency are modeled, and the theoretical examinations are backed up by measurements run on a rail-based test system.}},
