  text: On the occasion of the 250th anniversary celebrations of Ludwig van Beethoven
    in 2020, we developed the musical room installation "Inside Beethoven! The Audience
    Goes on Stage". It is a stage with virtual musicians. Visitors are invited to
    enter, take the position of the musicians and listen to each of them at close
    range. The installation emulates the listening perspective of the musicians, thus,
    providing an uncommon experience to visitors who are mostly used to listen to
    music from recordings or from a concert audience's perspective. The musicians
    play Beethoven's septet op. 20 and its trio arrangement op. 38, two exclusive
    14 channel music productions. Both versions are aligned and can be switched seamlessly.
    Digital music stands visualize the score. In this paper we trace the genesis and
    construction of the installation and point at some conceptual and technical challenges
    tackled.

  text: Diese Masterarbeit befasst sich mit der Thematik des Renderings in MAXON Cinema
    4D und der These, dass die neu entwickelte Rendersoftware NVIDIA® Iray® für den
    Anwender und für mittelständische Unternehmen effizienter ist als die schon integrierte
    physikalische Standard-Rendersoftware. Die Methoden und wichtigsten Parameter
    werden immer mit Bezug auf Iray® erläutert, sodass die Aussage der Anfangsthese
    im Fazit begründet oder widerlegt werden kann.

  text: 'In this paper I give a summary about the topic rendering in Cinema 4D. Functions
    and characteristics of rendering will be basically explained, so that the understanding
    of the methods and calculation is given. The focus based on the new developed
    rendering software NVIDIA® Iray® and on the thesis, if Iray® is more efficient
    for single users and medium-sized enterprises than the integrated standard rendering
    software. I demonstrate my examples and settings in pictures and experience from
    the practical part of this master thesis: Visualization of a product presentation
    for the new NVIDIA® VCA®. The manufacturing was realized with the NVIDIA® Iray®
    Beta 2.0 version for MAXON Cinema 4D R16.'

  text: In the context of the increasing use of new portable evices, the potential
    of binaural recording techniques is being reconsidered. This kind of recording
    technique simulates human hearing and provides a 3D recording space, bringing
    in new mixing possibilities. For this paper, a song has been produced using inaural
    recording techniques and tested on a group of average listeners. The results suggest
    great potential for this technique for music production due to the 3D space that
    it brings but also significant limitation for commercial broadcasting.

    design and performing art into a media based content. A media worker without previous
    knowledge of electronics tends to achieve the task to work out the communication
    between media and interactive device. By means of an interactive installation,
    the technical and aesthetical opportunities are explored to find new ways to present
    the performance of musicians as well.
