Es wird ein Vokabular benötigt, um diesen Wandel zu benennen und in die Praxis umzusetzen (Seggewies et al., 2018). Als etabliertes Framework bilden die R-Strategien (z.B. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) ein wirksames Instrument, um die Abfallhierarchie und die Übergänge zwischen den Lebenszyklen zu beschreiben (Kirchherr et al., 2018). Dabei sind sie für die Entwicklung zirkulärer Produkte, Prozesse und Geschäftsmodelle hilfreich (Prosperkolleg.ruhr, 2022). Eine Meta-Studie zeigt, dass knapp ein Drittel aller untersuchten Publikationen auf die R-Strategien verweisen, sich lediglich 13% auf baupraktische Lösungsansätze oder die Kombination dieser mit der Ökobilanzierung beziehen (Ossio, 2023).\r\nAktuell existiert somit kein spezifisches Vokabular, dass die R-Strategien anwendbar und verständlich im Kontext des zirkulären Bauens definiert. Im Rahmen des Verbundprojekts „CirQuality OWL plus“, werden Instrumente zur Umsetzung der Circular Economy regional entwickelt und implementiert, um aktiv Klimaschutz zu betreiben. Die vorliegende Veröffentlichung erweitert die R-Strategien für die verschiedenen Ebenen von Gebäuden ‒ Material / Ressource, Bauteil / Produkt und Gebäude ‒ sowie die differenzierte Betrachtung von Bestandsgebäuden und Neubauten. Anwendungsmöglichkeiten und -grenzen werden definiert und für den Übertrag in die Praxis dargestellt. Die spezifische Definition der R-Strategien für das zirkuläre Bauen ermöglicht eine klare Benennung zirkulärer Lösungen für verschiedene Akteure des Bausektors. We contribute to closing this gap by asking under which conditions firms – each of which occupies a unique position along the automotive industry value chain – may overcome innovation barriers and spend scarce resources for collective R&D projects. We use a framed laboratory experiment to scrutinize the of different situations on the decision to spend the R&D budget for individual or collective R&D projects. The framing originates from a real-world case study of the massive metal forging industry. However, the shift from combustion engines to e-mobility drive trains is restructuring the industry. Accordingly, this paper analyzes the determinants affecting the emergence of e-mobility drive technologies in the automotive sector. In doing so, we emphasize the role of digital technologies in the sector’s environmental transformation, drawing from the “twin-transition” framework, where digital and green shifts mutually influence one another. Methodically, we use an event-history approach to empirically explore the early appearance of R&D activities in the form of patent-based or funded-project-based collaboration events at the regional level over the period 1990 to 2018. Our results indicate positive and significant relatedness between various digitalization variables and the early emergence of e-mobility activities in regions. Setting up and running multiple lake models can be challenging and time consuming, despite the many similarities between the existing models (forcing data, hypsograph, etc.). Here we present an R package, LakeEnsemblR, that facilitates running ensembles of five different vertical one-dimensional hydrodynamic lake models (FLake, GLM, GOTM, Simstrat, MyLake). The package requires input in a standardised format and a single configuration file. LakeEnsemblR formats these files to the input required by each model, and provides functions to run and calibrate the models. The outputs of the different models are compiled into a single file, and several post-processing operations are supported. LakeEnsemblR's workflow standardisation can simplify model benchmarking and uncertainty quantification, and improve collaborations between scientists.
