Functions and characteristics of rendering will be basically explained, so that the understanding of the methods and calculation is given. The focus based on the new developed rendering software NVIDIA® Iray® and on the thesis, if Iray® is more efficient for single users and medium-sized enterprises than the integrated standard rendering software. I demonstrate my examples and settings in pictures and experience from the practical part of this master thesis: Visualization of a product presentation for the new NVIDIA® VCA®.
