Scanning tunneling spectroscopy in an UHV environment at liquid helium temperatures reveals the existence of distinct peaks in the conductivity of the cluster-on-surface system. For negative voltages, the peak separations scale with the inverse particle height, which hints at a quantum size effect in these metallic “quantum dots”."}],"publication_status":"published","publisher":"Elsevier","author":[{"first_name":"A.","full_name":"Bettac, A.","last_name":"Bettac"},{"id":"61649","last_name":"Köller","full_name":"Köller, Lars","first_name":"Lars"},{"full_name":"Rank, V.","first_name":"V.","last_name":"Rank"},{"last_name":"Meiwes-Broer","first_name":"Karl-Heinz","full_name":"Meiwes-Broer, Karl-Heinz"}],"publication":"Surface Science : a journal devoted to the physics and chemistry of interfaces","status":"public","title":"Scanning Tunneling Spectroscopy on Deposited Platnium Clusters","volume":"402-404","publication_identifier":{"issn":["0039-6028"]}}]
