While there are different concepts in research on how to simplify the engineering process by using generic skills or capabilities of devices, run-time control is still achieved with proprietary communication protocols and commands. The concept in this paper uses skills not only in the phase of engineering but also consequently for direct and generic control of field-devices. An executable skill-metamodel therefore describes the methodological functionality which is implemented by using OPC UA due to its vendor independence as well as built-in services and information model. The implementation uses client/server-based OPC UA and the pub/sub pattern to prepare for a deterministic real-time control in conjunction with TSN, which is required by industrial automation.","lang":"eng"}],"publisher":"IEEE","series_title":"IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation-ETFA","publication_status":"published","place":"[Piscataway, NJ]","doi":"10.1109/etfa.2019.8869473","_id":"12826","type":"conference_editor_article","user_id":"83781"},{"department":[{"_id":"DEP8020"}],"abstract":[{"lang":"eng","text":"{The environmental labour market in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands was evaluated by analysing up to 120 job advertisements in each country. The conditions and requirements were grouped into 11 categories showing clear similarities and differences between the five countries. Further evaluation of the data gives evidence that the private sector plays a significant role for technical environmental professionals in Europe. As a central task, conclusions regarding degree and knowledge requirements, respectively, and the importance of a variety of skills are drawn. Suggestions are made how the findings can be accounted for in environmental curricula. Furthermore the role of networks for the graduates' entry into the labour market is emphazised.}"}],"issue":"8","publisher":"IWA Publishing","publication_status":"published","place":"London, UK","doi":"10.2166/wst.2004.0500","_id":"4175","type":"journal_article","user_id":"74004","intvolume":" 49","main_file_link":[{"url":"https://iwaponline.com/wst/article-abstract/49/8/109/10524/Some-aspects-of-the-environmental-labour-market-in?redirectedFrom=fulltext"}],"author":[{"first_name":"Joachim","last_name":"Fettig","full_name":"Fettig, Joachim","id":"21018"}],"year":2004,"page":"109-116","status":"public","title":"Some aspects of the environmental labour market in five European countries and conclusions with respect to environmental curricula","citation":{"ama":"Fettig J.
