We analysed data from 1979 to 2004 from Lake Müggelsee (Berlin, Germany), using physical and biological parameters to define the spring period. We show that a change in timing of spring plankton events in warm years led to the paradox of lower mean water temperatures during the growth period, favouring cold‐adapted diatoms over cyanobacteria, and within the diatoms, some cold‐adapted centric forms over pennate forms. Under high P : Si ratios, the increased time between phytoplankton and cladoceran peaks opened a loophole for filamentous cyanobacteria (Oscillatoriales) in warm years to establish dominance after the diatoms, which are silicate limited. Pure gold is very soft. In order to improve the wear resistance of gold plates, hard gold is usually used. The high hardness is achieved by alloying elements such as cobalt, iron or nickel. With an increasing rate of alloying elements the hardness of gold plates is increased. On the other hand, the alloying elements decrease the electrical conductivity, the corrosion resistance and the formability of gold plates. Our investigation shows that the wear rate of the hard gold plates at the contact area is still very high. The depth of the crater at the contact area very soon exceeds the thickness of the gold plates during the wear tests. Since the nickel underplate, the barrier layer, is very sensitive to fretting corrosion, the electric contacts must electrically fail at this stage, due to the strong increase of contact resistance. However, many electric contacts do not fail at this stage and at stages far beyond. Two very different wear patterns are the reasons for this phenomenon. Different amounts of gold, alloying elements, nickel and elements of base metals can be found at the bottom of the crater at the contact area by means of energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX). Depending on the lateral and spatial distribution of these elements, quite different electrical behavior of electric contacts can be observed. In thin-film silicon tandem solar cells consisting of amorphous and microcrystalline silicon with two junctions of a-Si/μc-Si, efficiency enhancements can be achieved by increasing the current density in the a-Si top cell. It is one goal to provide an optimized current matching at high current densities. For an ideal photon-management between top and bottom cell, a spectrally selective intermediate reflective layer (IRL) is necessary, which is less dependent of the angle of incidence than state-of-the-art thickness dependent massive interlayers. The design, preparation and characterization of a 3D photonic thin-film filter device for this purpose has been pursued straight forward in simulation and experimental realization. The inverted opal is capable of providing a suitable optical band stop with high reflectance and the necessary long wavelength transmittance as well and provides further options for improved light trapping. We have determined numerically the relative efficiency enhancement of an a-Si/μc-Si tandem solar cell using a conductive 3D-photonic crystal. We have further fabricated such structures by ZnO-replication of polymeric opals using chemical vapour deposition and atomic layer deposition techniques and present the results of their characterization. Thin film photonic IRL have been prepared at the rear side of a-Si solar cells. Completed with a back contact, this is the first step to integrate this novel technology into an a-Si/μc-Si tandem solar cell process. We use a cluster analysis in order to create groups of technology fields for German standards according to the fields of the International Classification of Standards. The applied joining clustering method uses these distances between the objects and allows the data to be mapped within a two dimensional space. B. Bewertung unterschiedlicher Arbeitsprozesse, Personalbemessung, Personaleinsatzplanung, Prämienberechnung). Ziel dieses Beitrages ist es, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Anwendung von Methoden der Zeitwirtschaft im Dienstleistungssektor zu erläutern und methodische Weiterentwicklungspotenziale aufzuzeigen. Da der Dienstleistungssektor, zu dem unter anderem die Wirtschaftsbereiche Handel, Verkehr, Kreditinstitute, Versicherungsunternehmen und Wohnungsvermietung gehören, hinsichtlich seiner Struktur recht heterogen ist, wird im folgenden beispielhaft die Dienstleistungsbranche des stationären Einzelhandels betrachtet. Um das dargestellte Ziel dieses Beitrages zu erreichen, wird in einem ersten Schritt die Dienstleistungsbranche des Einzelhandels kurz charakterisiert. In einem zweiten Schritt wird eine Typologisierung von Arbeit vorgenommen. Dieser Schritt ist notwendig, da die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten und -grenzen von Methoden der Zeitwirtschaft nicht alleine an einem Wirtschaftssektor, wie dem Dienstleistungssektor, noch an einer Dienstleistungsbranche, sondern ausschließlich an den Merkmalen von Tätigkeiten aufgezeigt werden können. In einem dritten Schritt werden Tätigkeiten typischer Mitarbeitergruppen aus der Dienstleistungsbranche des Einzelhandels in die Typologie eingeordnet. In this paper we discuss the multi-component character of emotions and its consideration in the area of human-technology interaction. Based on the approach proposed by Scherer [1], various aspects of emotions were investigated in an interactive context: subjective feelings, physiological activation, motor expression, cognitive appraisals, and behavioral tendencies. In an experiment emotion-related changes were detected for a number of emo tional components by using a variety of methods: rating scales for sub jec tive feelings, electromyography of facial muscles, heart rate, electrodermal activity, perfor mance data and questionnaires on cognitive appraisals. Results are discussed with respect to the correlation between the components and their associated methods.
