However, conventional stopped-flow devices are often overly complex, voluminous, or costly. Moreover, excessive amounts of sample are often wasted owing to inefficient designs. To address these shortcomings, we propose a stopped-flow system based on microfluidic design principles. Our simple and cost-efficient approach offers distinct advantages over existing technology. In particular, the use of injection-molded disposable microfluidic chips minimizes required sample volumes and associated costs, simplifies handling, and prevents adverse cross-contamination effects. The cost of the system developed is reduced by an order of magnitude compared with the cost of commercial systems. The system contains a high-precision valve system for fluid control and features automated data acquisition capability with high temporal resolution. Zwar hat die Produktion im Winter überraschenderweise nur stagniert, dies ist aber auf Sondereffekte etwa im Zusammenhang mit den Konjunkturprogrammen zurückzuführen. Angesichts des moderaten Wachstumstempos wird die Wirtschaftskraft am Ende des Prognosezeitraums 2011 nur noch leicht unter dem Vorkrisenniveau liegen. Getrieben wird die leichte Erholung der Konjunktur 2010 größtenteils von der Auslandsnachfrage; rund zwei Drittel der Zunahme der Produktion dürften aus der Verbesserung des Außenbeitrags kommen. 2011 ist dagegen die Binnennachfrage der stärkste Wachstumstreiber. Während der private Konsum 2010 aufgrund der vorhandenen Arbeitsplatzunsicherheit und niedriger Lohnabschlüsse noch schwach bleibt, ist 2011 mit einem Zuwachs von einem Prozent zu rechnen. Der massive Rückgang der Wirtschaftsleistung 2009 hat sich weit weniger als befürchtet auf die Entwicklung der Beschäftigung ausgewirkt. Der wichtigste Grund dafür war, dass die Krise weitgehend auf den Exportsektor begrenzt blieb. Derzeit spricht viel dafür, dass die Talsohle auf dem Arbeitsmarkt bereits durchschritten ist und sich sogar ein leichter Rückgang der Arbeitslosigkeit einstellen wird. Mit einem kräftigen Aufschwung bei der Beschäftigung ist allerdings nicht zu rechnen. Zwar liegt das Wachstum im Prognosezeitraum über der Schwelle, ab der Beschäftigung aufgebaut wird, der vorherige Absturz der Produktion steht aber einem deutlichen Zuwachs der Beschäftigung entgegen. Die Lage der öffentlichen Haushalte bleibt hochgradig angespannt. Am J Physiol Endocrinol Metab 291: E860–E866, 2006) that the intravenous infusion of triheptanoin increases lipolysis traced by the turnover of glycerol. In this study, we tested whether lipolysis induced by triheptanoin infusion is accompanied by the potentially harmful release of long-chain fatty acids. Rats were infused with heptanoate ± glycerol or triheptanoin. Intravenous infusion of triheptanoin at 40% of caloric requirement markedly increased glycerol endogenous Ra but not oleate endogenous Ra. Thus, the activation of lipolysis was balanced by fatty acid reesterification in the same cells. The liver acyl-CoA profile showed the accumulation of intermediates of heptanoate β-oxidation and C5-ketogenesis and a decrease in free CoA but no evidence of metabolic perturbation of liver metabolism such as propionyl overload. For finding limits investigations are necessary on mains impedances and harmonics. There are older publications on mains impedances (e. g. [4], [5]), but they include only measurements of impedances between one phase and neutral conductor and no measurements of impedances between the phases. This is important for three-phase loads. Furthermore in [4] no measurements were made in industrial mains and the investigations were carried out more than one decade ago. Especiaily in the last years the electrical environment in the mains has changed because of the increasing number of self-commutated converters. Accordingly, much higher amplitudes for harmonics in the upper frequency range are identifiable. In this paper current investigations on mains impedances and harmonics are presented which were carried out in universities, companies and private houses. Today, the understanding, in which way physical, emotional and cognitive abilities, caused by individual learning histories and health states, may impact the usage and acceptance of pervasive healthcare technologies, is restricted. This research contributes to this topic by investigating the acceptance motives of aged users with different health states regarding three different implementation concepts for medical technologies: medical technology implemented in mobile devices, smart environments and smart clothing. Using the questionnaire method, a total of 82 users between 40 and 92 years of age were examined regarding their usage motives and barriers with respect to the different technology concepts. In diesem Paper wird ein leistungsfähiger und t1exibler Steuerungsalgorithmus fur eine Kommissionierung mit dynamischer Bereitstellung entwickelt, der die genannten Hochleistungsanforderungen erfuHt. Auf der Basis einer Online-Aktualisierung der Auftragsdaten werden jeweils günstige Steuerungsvorgaben ermittelt. Die Performance des entworfenen Steuerungsalgorithmus wird durch eine Simulation des Kommissioniersystems unter dynamischer Auftragslast mit Realdaten untersucht.
