In this circumstance, assembly assistance systems are often used to ensure production standards. However, the individual requirements of each worker call for a way for the system to adapt towards the workers needs. This often requires modelling and configuration effort to include expert knowledge into an assistance system. This hinders an economical operation in an industrial environment. In this paper, an approach is presented, facilitating methods of online modelling, to generate a model, which represents the workers behavior during an assembly process. This behavior model is then used to deduce suitable adaptive assembly assistance in real time.}},

While assistance in a single task via a single interaction modality has been explored previously, crossdevice interaction could improve the quality of assistance, especially given the concurrent and distributed nature of work in CPPSs. In this paper, we present the theoretical foundations and implementation of MiWSICx (Middleware for Work Support in Industrial Contexts), a middleware that showcases how multiple interactive computing devices such as tablets, smartphones, augmented/virtual reality glasses, and wearables could be combined to provide crossdevice industrial assistance. Based on activity theory, MiWSICx models human work as activities combining multiple users, artifacts, and cyber-physical objects. MiWSICx is developed using the actor model for deployment on a variety of hardware alongside a CPPS to provide multiuser, crossdevice, multiactivity assistance.}},

  abstract     = {{The Old City of Aleppo, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, has been inscribed on UNESCOs World Heritage List in 1986. In the early 1990s the Aleppo municipality initiated the project for the Rehabilitation of the Old City with the German Technical Cooperation Agency (GTZ) as a partner. As part of the process, a Development Plan was issued as a general framework including ten strategies for upgrading the historical urban fabric in line with the sustainable development. Despite implementation of these strategies, the physical fabric of the Old City has continued to deteriorate, and the demographic transition has continued to increase until the escalation of the Syrian Civil War in 2011. The paper analyses the development plans strategies in the Old City of Aleppo, mainly those related to housing aspects. It evaluates the effectiveness of these strategies based on the concept of good urban governance that intersects with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aiming to overcome the administrative gaps to rebuild the Old City more sustainably after the Syrian Civil War.}},

  abstract     = {{	Critical success factors such as trust and privacy concerns have been recognized as grand challenges for research of intelligent interactive technologies. Not only their ethical, legal, and social implications, but also their role in the intention to use these technologies within high risk and uncertainty contexts must be investigated. Nonetheless, there is a lack of empirical evidence about the factors influencing user’s intention to use insurance chatbots (ICB). To close this gap, we analyze (i) the effect of trust and privacy concerns on the intention to use ICB and (ii) the importance of these factors in comparison with the widely studied technology acceptance variables of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Based on the results of our online survey with 215 respondents and partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM), our findings indicate that although trust is important, other factors, such as the perceived usefulness, are most critical for ICB usage.}},

  abstract     = {{The Government of Dubai implemented Green Building Regulations & Specifications & Specifications (GBRS). In March 2014. Dubai has more than 1000 high-rise buildings in which more than 2 million residents are accommodated. However, 62% of the existing residential high-rise buildings dating from 1970-2014 do not meet the requirements of the new GBRS. The paper suggests a sustainability plan framework for the modern heritage buildings in Dubai that satisfies the new building regulations. This will require the development of a new set of tools to adequately protect and keep the identity and heritage of the existing buildings instead of replacing them with new ones. In this context, several case studies are presented, analyzed and discussed to present the potential and the challenges of keeping these buildings.Many of the existing buildings built in the City of Dubai from 1970-2014 are part of the memory of the place and contribute to the story of Dubai development in the recent past. This research aims at protecting and documenting an important phase of the history of the urban development in the City of Dubai, highlighting the time period in which the initial principles that govern and guide the development of the city were developed. As part of Dubai modern heritage, the buildings under study have had a major impact on shaping the urban environment and crystallizing the architectural character of Dubai development in the 1970s and 1980s. Besides that, the headlong modernization of Dubai will eliminate all evidence of the city evolution. As a result, retrofitting of existing buildings should not only improve energy efficiency and performance but also keep the identity and heritage of the City of Dubai instead of replacing buildings with new ones.}},

  abstract     = {{Preservation of juices is essential to obtain microbial safe products. There are various established methods as pasteurization. Heretofore, only the kinetic figures of microbial inactivation were considered but not those of reaction impairing the chemical quality. For a gentler processing, knowledge of the kinetics of relevant chemical conversion reactions is necessary. 5-(Hydroxymethyl)-furfural (HMF) formation and the color change of juices are important attributes. The non-isothermal Rhim method was used to determine the activation energy and pre-exponential factor for HMF formation in different juices and an isothermal method for the reaction order. Values for the activation energy from 133 to 303 kJ/mol were obtained with a zeroth reaction order. A correlation between HMF and the color change could be found. Based on the kinetic figures, lines with equal effects for the chemical changes and for the lethal effect on microorganisms were calculated. Time-temperature settings for the gentlest treatment could be found.}},

  abstract     = {{Preface: Since its foundation in 1990, Docomomo International has been dedicated to the documentation and conservation of buildings, sites and neighborhoods of the Modern Movement. It has devoted thirty years to study and protect the architectural heritage of the Modern Movement through academic and professional practise, case-studies and bestpractises, and the dissemination of knowledge. Facing the rapid digital developments and globalisation, Docomomo fostered its role as an international platform by offering new services, by making the knowledge and information available online, and by creating the new Docomomo virtual exhibition - MoMove. This was created by Docomomo International, Lisbon Headquarters, in 2015.
Since 2014, the Detmold School of Architecture and Interior Architecture is an institutional member of Docomomo Germany and Docomomo International. It seeks to contribute to this mission with different contributions. As a co-organizer of the Docomomo Germany Conferences since 2019, the Detmold School was able to connect research and educational projects to the events, often exploring novel forms of ideation, documentation, design and dissemination. All this was conceived to fully exploit the creative and newly gained digital potentials, for the reuse and safeguard of the recent built heritage.
This year’s contribution aimed to create new contents for the MoMove produced by students of the master’s programs of Integrated Architectural Design (MIAD) and Integrated Design (MID). The goal has been to further develop MoMove into a strong dissemination and knowledge exchange platform. Being part of the first digital Docomomo conference,
these exhibits showcase and apply current digital visualization, and communication technologies. The exhibition, also, demonstrates the students’ reflections and concerns towards the future design of the built environment, inspired by the lessons learnt from Modern Movement. This small publication collects the students’ exhibits and puts them in the current context of open science and scientific communication. We hope to inspire you as a reader and visitor.}},

Durch eine Halbierung der Phosphor-Einträge sollen in allen Fließgewässern die Phosphat-P-Konzentrationen auf einen unkritischen Wert von unter 0,07 mg/l PO4-P reduziert werden. Im Rahmen der Bestandsaufnahme und Erfolgskontrolle werden in dieser Studie Betriebsergebnisse und Erfahrungen zur Phosphorelimination auf mittelhessischen Kläranlagen systematisch ausgewertet und evaluiert. Compared to the prototyping application, the production of end-use parts demands a higher level of repeatability and process quality. To achieve this, increased knowledge is required about the influence of various process parameters on the part characteristics and the parameter interrelations. Design of Experiment methods can be applied to gain knowledge on the process behavior, but the applicability of different DoE methods for AM processes has to be validated. This paper describes the application of a definitive screening design for the identification of influencing parameters in Laser Powder Bed Fusion of CoCrW alloy. The impact of various hatch parameters on the part porosity is analyzed. The experimental setup and results are described. The results are validated in an additional test series, comparing the part quality achieved by parameter-sets obtained by different optimization approaches. Furthermore, the correlation of the porosity towards mechanical properties is investigated. Finally, the opportunities and limitations of the method are discussed.}},

This research is based on the idea to achieve great cost and operational benefits especially in the field of tool making for injection molding by combining traditional and additive manufacturing in one process chain. Special attention is given to the surface quality in terms of surface roughness and its optimization directly in the Selective Laser Melting process. This article presents the possibility for a remelting process of the SLM parts as a way to optimize the surfaces of the produced parts. The influence of laser remelting on the surface roughness of the parts is analyzed while varying machine parameters like laser power and scan settings. Laser remelting with optimized parameter settings considerably improves the surface quality of SLM parts and is a great starting point for further post-processing techniques, which require a low initial value of surface roughness.}},

The goal of this architecture is to reduce the implementation effort of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms in CPPS. Declarative user goals and the provided algorithm-knowledge base allow the dynamic pipeline orchestration and configuration. A big data platform (BDP) instantiates the pipelines and monitors the CPPS performance for further evaluation through the cognitive module. Thus, the cognitive module is able to select feasible and robust configurations for process pipelines in varying use cases. Furthermore, it automatically adapts the models and algorithms based on model quality and resource consumption. The cognitive module also instantiates additional pipelines to evaluate algorithms from different classes on test functions. CAAI relies on well-defined interfaces to enable the integration of additional modules and reduce implementation effort. Finally, an implementation based on Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka for the virtualization and orchestration of the individual modules and as messaging technology for module communication is used to evaluate a real-world use case.}},

  abstract     = {{n recent decades, the demand for palm oil has constantly increased and with it the cultivation of oil palms. After a period of 25 years, the oil yield of the palm trees decreases and they are felled. The trees are cut into pieces and remain on the plantations. However, due to their high moisture and sugar content, fungi and molds cause problems for replanting. The use of the wood for the timber industry is difficult due to its structural characteristics. Biotechnological processes use microorganisms to produce relevant industrial products. The basis for each process is a culture medium that contains all necessary nutrients, especially carbohydrates. The culture medium makes up a high percentage of the costs, so alternative, cheaper substrates are preferred. In this review, we show and compare different analyses of the sap mechanically pressed from the oil palm trunk regarding its sugar and nutrient content. The total sugar concentration in the palm sap varies between 16.97–140 g L<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup> and it is mainly composed of glucose, fructose, and sucrose. The comparison with common nutrient media and the results of fermentation processes already carried out on a laboratory scale show that palm sap offers great potential as a fermentation medium for biotechnological conversion into industrially relevant products. }},

  abstract     = {{Due to the fact that modern diesel engines require very well-defined fuel properties to ensure high efficiency, low emissions and a long durability, the fuel properties and their determination methods have to be standardized. Most diesel fuel standards allow a certain volume fraction of biodiesel that can be blended to fossil diesel fuel. Biodiesel consists of saturated and unsaturated fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) which are more susceptible to oxidation compared to fossil diesel fuel. Oxidation products formed by autoxidative processes can lead to higher emissions, a higher corrosiveness, fuel filter blocking, clogging of fuel injectors, the formation of deposits in the entire fuel system and a decreasing lubricity [1]. Therefore, oxidation needs to be prevented by the addition of oxidation inhibitors. These antioxidants are consumed during storage, resulting in partial loss of their efficiency against oxidative stress. After this induction period all antioxidants have been consumed and harmful oxidation products can be formed. For the determination of the long-term storage stability of diesel fuels rapid oxidation stability test methods were developed and defined by standards. In Europe, the most important determination methods are the Rancimat method and the rapid small scale oxidation test (RSSOT). Both methods differ in the construction of the measurement device and various parameters. However, it is not clear whether the results of both methods can be correlated in general. Due to the importance of the oxidation stability, we here describe the results of a literature research that was carried out using 17 literature sources. Possible correlation factors between the Rancimat and the RSSOT method were analyzed, showing that a universal correlation cannot be found. In contrast, a comparison of individual series of measurement, e.g. with the same antioxidant at various concentrations, can show a good correlation between the methods.}},

  abstract     = {{The need for new bio based drop-in components for combustion engine fuels and the availability of sustainable glycerol from biodiesel production has focused attention on isopropylidene glycerol (solketal). The present study investigates the physical and chemical behavior of solketal in ternary blends with diesel fuel/biodiesel. Hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) was used as renewable non-polar aliphatic diesel fuel substitute in biodiesel/ solketal blends. HVO can be considered a prototype for other non-polar fuel components such as paraffinic fuel streams from Fischer-Tropsch or BtL processes. Surface tension, permittivity and aging behavior were analyzed. Furthermore, the cetane number (CN) and the viscosity was determined. Permittivity reflects the polarity of blends and their components with its change being an indicator of loss of physical and chemical stability. The antioxidant triphenyl phosphorothioate (TPPT) was also tested in some blends. The biodiesel blends B20, B30 and B40 enables single phased diesel fuel or HVO with varied solketal content (2 and 10%) at a constant biodiesel amount. No effect of solketal on fuel aging was observed. However, HVO-containing blends tend to lower the thermo-chemical stability relative to diesel fuel.}},

  abstract     = {{The composition of the microbiome is subject to the host’s diet. In commercial laboratory mouse diets, different physical forms of the same diets are available, containing—according to their labels—identical ingredients and nutrient compositions. However, variations in nutrient composition and starch gelatinization due to production processes and their impact on digestibility have been described. In this study, a total of 48 C57BL/J6 mice were assigned to two equal groups and were fed diets (produced with different processes—extruded vs. pelleted) for eight weeks in two biological replicates. At the end of the experiment, samples were collected from five different gastrointestinal regions, including the stomach, small intestine, cecum, large intestine, and an extracorporeal region (feces), and the microbiome was analyzed with 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. The replicates in both experiments differed significantly in their relative abundances of Muribaculaceae species. Furthermore, the gastrointestinal content of pellet-fed mice contained larger numbers of Lactobacillus species. These results indicate that starch gelatinization and ingredient composition significantly influence microbial makeup. In conclusion, different feed processing methods may affect fundamental digestive and metabolic processes, impacting animal experiments and biasing microbiome data.}},

  abstract     = {{Leptospirosis is a neglected worldwide zoonotic bacterial disease with a high prevalence in subtropical and tropical countries. The prevalence of Leptospira spp. in humans, cattle and dogs is unknown in Bhutan. Therefore, we sought to find out whether humans, cattle or dogs had been infected in the past with leptospires by measuring antibodies in the serum. We therefore collected blood from 864 humans ≥13 years of age, 130 bovines and 84 dogs from different rural and urban areas in Bhutan and tested the serum for antibodies specific for leptospires with a screening of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) and a confirmatory microscopic agglutination test (MAT). In humans, 17.6% were seropositive by ELISA and 1.6% by MAT. The seropositivity was stronger in bovines (36.9%) and dogs (47.6%). “Having had a fever recently” (OR 5.2, p = 0.004), “working for the military” (OR 26.6, p = 0.028) and “being unemployed” (OR 12.9, p = 0.041) (reference category = housemaker) were statistically significantly associated with seropositivity when controlled for the effects of other risk factors. However, due to the small number of positive test results, the findings on risk factors should be interpreted with caution. Based on the serogroups found in the three species, dogs could be a source of infection for humans, or dogs and humans are exposed to the same environmental risk factors Clinical leptospirosis in humans and domestic animals should be investigated by testing blood and urine for the presence of leptospires by molecular methods (qPCR).}},

  abstract     = {{Straw is the main by-product of grain production, used as bedding material and animal feed. If produced or stored under adverse hygienic conditions, straw is prone to the growth of filamentous fungi. Some of them, e.g. Aspergillus, Fusarium and Stachybotrys spp. are well-known mycotoxin producers. Since studies on mycotoxins in straw are scarce, 192 straw samples (wheat n = 80; barley n = 79; triticale n = 12; oat n = 11; rye n = 12) were collected across Germany within the German official feed surveillance and screened for the presence of 21 mycotoxins. The following mycotoxins (positive samples for at least one mycotoxin n = 184) were detected: zearalenone (n = 86, 6.0–785 μg/kg), nivalenol (n = 51, 30–2,600 μg/kg), deoxynivalenol (n = 156, 20–24,000 μg/kg), 15-acetyl-deoxynivalenol (n = 34, 20–2,400 μg/kg), 3-acetyl-deoxynivalenol (n = 16, 40–340 μg/kg), scirpentriol (n = 14, 40–680 μg/kg), T-2 toxin (n = 67, 10–250 μg/kg), HT-2 toxin (n = 92, 20–800 μg/kg), T-2 tetraol (n = 13, 70–480 μg/kg). 15-monoacetoxyscirpenol (30 μg/kg) and T-2 triol (60 μg/kg) were only detected in one barley sample. Macrocyclic trichothecenes (satratoxin G, F, roridin E, and verrucarin J) were also found in only one barley sample (quantified as roridin A equivalent: total 183 μg/kg). The occurrence of stachybotrylactam was monitored for the first time in four samples (n = 4, 0.96–7.4 μg/kg). Fusarenon-X, 4,15-diacetoxyscirpenol, neosolaniol, satratoxin H and roridin-L2 were not detectable in the samples. The results indicate a non-negligible contribution of straw to oral and possibly inhalation exposure to mycotoxins of animals or humans handling contaminated straw.}},

  abstract     = {{Starch gelatinization is a major determinant of carbohydrate digestibility and varies with diet processing. Laboratory rodent diets are often marketed as identical, but are sold in different forms, regardless of the markedly higher starch gelatinization in extruded than in pelleted diets. Our hypothesis was that this would impact energy and nutrient digestibility in mice fed pellets or extrudate, respectively. Trial 1 showed that feeding C57BL/6 mice a standard maintenance diet in extruded form results in a significantly higher digestibility of organic matter, energy, and carbohydrates than the identical diet in pelleted form. The replication of the experiment, however, revealed a variation between batches of the same pelleted diet regarding starch and total dietary fiber contents. Given the significant differences in diet digestibility and the potential impacts of digestibility on nutrient utilization, the intestinal microbiome, and intermediary metabolism, trials performed with differently processed diets are not comparable. This might partly explain failures to reproduce results, especially in gastrointestinal or microbiome research. Considering this impact on experimental animals, the degree of starch gelatinization should be declared in the diet information for laboratory animal diets. The differences between batches of laboratory animal diets as observed in the pellets are not acceptable.}},

  abstract     = {{Stachybotrys (S.) chartarum is a cellulolytic mould with the ability to produce highly cytotoxic macrocyclic trichothecenes. Two chemotypes are defined according to their ability to produce either atranones or satratoxins. S. chartarum has been well known as the causative agent of the lethal disease stachybotryotoxicosis in horses. Further investigations revealed that this disease is strictly correlated with the presence of macrocyclic trichothecenes. Furthermore, their occurrence in water-damaged buildings has been linked to adverse health effects such as the sick building syndrome. As the chemotypes cannot be characterized via phenotypic criteria, different methods such as PCR, MALDI–TOF MS, LC–MS/MS, thin-layer chromatography and cytotoxicity assays have been used so far. Fourier-transform-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) is commonly used for the differentiation of bacteria and yeasts, but this technique is also applicable to filamentous fungi. Hence, this study aimed at evaluating to which extent a reliable differentiation of S. chartarum chemotypes A and S is possible. Besides, another objective was to verify if the recently introduced third genotype of S. chartarum can be identified. Therefore, 28 strains including the two chemotypes and the third genotype H were cultivated on malt extract agar (MEA) and potato dextrose agar in three biological replicates. Each sample was applied to FT-IR measurements on day 7, 14 and 21 of cultivation. In this study, we achieved a distinction of the chemotypes A and S via FT-IR spectroscopy after incubation for 7 days on MEA. In terms of genotype differentiation, the PCR detecting satratoxin- and atranone-gene clusters remained the only applicable method.}},

  abstract     = {{Cytotoxic macrocyclic trichothecenes such as satratoxins are produced by chemotype S strains of Stachybotrys chartarum. Diseases such as stachybotryotoxicosis in animals and the sick building syndrome as a multifactorial disease complex in humans have been associated with this mold and its toxins. Less toxic non-chemotype S strains of S. chartarum are morphologically indistinguishable from chemotype S strains, which results in uncertainties in hazard characterization of isolates. To selectively identify macrocyclic trichothecene producing S. chartarum isolates, a set of sat14 gene-specific primers was designed and applied in a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay using neutral red for visual signal detection. The assay was highly specific for S. chartarum strains of the macrocyclic trichothecene producing chemotype and showed no cross-reaction with non-macrocyclic trichothecene producing S. chartarum strains or 152 strains of 131 other fungal species. The assay’s detection limit was 0.635 pg/rxn (picogram per reaction) with a reaction time of 60 min. Its high specificity and sensitivity as well as the cost-saving properties make the new assay an interesting and powerful diagnostic tool for easy and rapid testing.}},

  abstract     = {{Zu den Zecken-übertragenen Erkrankungen beim Pferd in Deutschland zählen neben der Equinen Granulozytären Anaplasmose (EGA, verursacht durch Anaplasma phagocytophilum, Ap) auch die Equine Lyme-Borreliose (verursacht durch den Borrelia-burgdorf-eri-sensu-lato-Komplex), die Frühsommer-Meningoencephalitis (FSME-Virus) und die Equine Piroplasmose (Babesia caballi, Theileria equi). Die EGA ist nicht kontagiös, so dass in der Regel innerhalb eines Bestandes nur einzelne Pferde betroffen sind. Der Schweregrad der Erkrankung ist vom Alter des Pferdes und der Dauer der Erkrankung abhängig. Zumeist tritt Apathie und Fieber auf. Jüngere Pferde (< 4 Jahre) entwickeln meist nur mildere klinische Veränderungen als ältere Pferde. In den meisten Fällen weist die EGA bei jungen Pferden und vor allem in Endemiegebieten,
einen subklinischen oder milden Verlauf auf. Als Erregerreservoir dienen vor allem kleine wildlebende Säuger wie z.B. Nagetiere. Die Diagnose der EGA basiert auf der epizootischen Anamnese (jahreszeitlich und regional typisches Auftreten, vorhandene Zeckenexposition) sowie klinischen und labordiagnostischen Befunden. Der direkte Erregernachweis erfolgt durch Teilgensequenzierung, direkten mikroskopischen Nachweis oder Kultivierung. Auch indirekte Erregernachweisverfahren zur Diagnose der EGA in Form serologischer Laboruntersuchungen (Morulae bzw. Einschlusskörperchen) stehen zur Verfügung. Dabei kommen in der Regel ELISAs und Immunfluoreszenztests zum Einsatz. Ein Anstieg der Antikörperspiegel um das vierfache Niveau, lässt eine sichere Diagnose zu. Spezifische Antikörper gegen Ap können ab dem 14. Tag post infectionem und bis zu zwei Jahre später nachgewiesen werden. Die EGA kann effektiv mit Antibiotika behandelt werden. Dadurch wird die Erkrankungsdauer signifikant verkürzt und die Schwere der Erkrankung gemindert. Da Ap ein intrazelluläres Pathogen ist, sind Tetrazykline die Antibiotika der Wahl (Oxytetrazyklin intravenös in einer Dosis von 7 mg/kg Körpergewicht einmal täglich über 5–7 Tage). Da bisher keine Impfung gegen die EGA zur Verfügung steht, sind die Prophylaxe-Maßnahmen auf die Verhinderung oder Minderung einer Zeckenexposition beschränkt.}},

  abstract     = {{Die Energiewende und die Erreichung der politisch formulierten und gesellschaftlich gewollten Umweltschutzziele bedarf zukunftstauglicher Planungswerkzeuge, die sowohl die übergeordnete Verwaltungsperspektive als auch die Perspektive der individuellen Nachbarschaften vor Ort berücksichtigen. Im Idealfall sollten diese beiden Perspektiven zu einem gemeinsamen Interessenmanagement zusammengeführt werden. Folglich stellen der Informationserwerb und das Erlernen der relevanten Zusammenhänge und Wechselwirkungen entscheidende Faktoren zum Gelingen dieses Transformationsprozesses dar. Das webbasierte Tool myField soll es den Bürger*innen ermöglichen, im persönlichen Wohnumfeld projektorientierte Maßnahmen zur Erzeugung umweltschutzorientierter Energievorhaben zu projektieren und durch Simulations- und Eigenabschätzungsverfahren eine Optimierung solcher Projektideen vorzunehmen. myField bietet neben der computerspiel-ähnlichen 3D-Welt zusätzlich eine Cloud-Plattform zur Kommunikation kollaborativer Ideen und zur Vernetzung zwischen den Akteur*innen. myField wurde vom Forschungsschwerpunkt nextPlace der Technischen Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe in Kooperation mit der Arbeitsgruppe GIS des Geografischen Instituts der Universität Bonn als interaktive Softwareapplikation auf Basis der Gaming-Engine Unity3D entwickelt. Die ersten Arbeitsschritte beinhalteten Literatur- und Software-Recherchen zur inhaltlichen Positionierung. Die Kernarbeit bestand aus der Programmierung des Software-Prototypen und der Implementierung amtlicher Geodateninfrastrukturen. Die Entwicklungsarbeit wurde gefördert durch die Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU), begleitet durch Expertengespräche, Rückkopplungen mit Fachvertretern der Beispielumgebung LEADER-Region Nordlippe und einzelnen Anwendertests.}},

  abstract     = {{Successful treatment not only depends on adhering to taking medication and attending therapy but also on behavioral changes. In two experiments (total N = 256), we investigated the hypothesis that the perceived social role of a treatment as partner (co-producer of a health-benefits) or servant (sole provider of health benefits) could promote or prevent intentions to engage in health-related behaviors. Specifically, we used headache treatment as an everyday example and found that participants were more inclined to engage in headache-reducing behaviors when painkillers were described as partners as compared to servants. Implications of these findings for the importance of anthropomorphic social perception in the clinical application are discussed. }},
