  - "Research on the mental health of professional musicians has predominantly focused
on deficits\r\nsuch as stress, anxiety, and depression. This thesis takes a resource-oriented
perspective,\r\nexamining what musicians need to sustain their psychological wellbeing
in the context of the\r\nmusic industry's ongoing structural transformation. Drawing
on health psychology frameworks –\r\nparticularly salutogenesis, the dual continua
model, and the concept of positive health – key\r\nresources are identified, including
motivation, flow, resilience, coping, and social\r\nconnectedness. The thesis
then analyses how platformisation, DIY culture, and the demand for\r\nentrepreneurial
self-organisation systematically erode these resources. An integrated model is\r\ndeveloped
that brings together individual, social, and structural dimensions of musician
health.\r\nThe findings suggest that psychological wellbeing among musicians cannot
be understood as a\r\npurely individual matter, but must be recognised as a structurally
    produced challenge of culturalpolitical relevance.@eng"
