  - This paper discusses the relevance of beauty and aesthetic values for an aesthetically
    pleasing design of technology-enhanced spaces in the context of ergonomics, usability,
    and technology acceptance. Under the concept of Aesthetic Intelligence we subsume
    various aspects, including conceptual scoping, formal design skills and creative
    methodologies. Our goal is to provide a concept for the exchange of ideas, initiation
    of collaborations and the development of methodological practices for facilitating
    effective and pleasurable designs.@eng
