The Smart Dice Cup is used in a similar way as a traditional leather dice cup to generate random numbers. Integrated accelerometers relate the shaking of the device to the resulting rolls of the dice. In addition to an autonomous stand-alone mode, where the Smart Dice Cup serves as self-sustained gaming system, the device is also capable of communicating with its surrounding environment serving as an input device for other pervasive gaming applications.","lang":"eng"}],"_id":"4814","date_updated":"2023-03-15T13:49:55Z","year":2006,"conference":{"name":"5th International Conference - ICEC 2006","location":"Cambridge, UK","end_date":"2006-09-22","start_date":"2006-09-20"},"date_created":"2021-02-02T09:58:10Z"}
