Development of a holistic sewer modernisation process 
Injections to stabilize road surface fortifications

Leakage in the building mains connection fittings zone mostly results in soil infiltration from the adjacent pipe and filled area into the sewer system. This in result leads to structural break up, settlement and cavity formation in the area of the pipe bedding. With more advanced soil infiltration, the piping and fill-in area situated above also becomes affected and this can lead to uneveness to the point of caving in of the road surface.
