Welcome to the homepage of the Professorship of Discrete Systems at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lemgo. The Discrete Systems Group is established as a research group within the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science since 2004. The purpose of the professorship is conducting education and research for TechnicalCognitive Systems with a focus on Image Processing and Pattern Recognition as well as on Sensor- and Information Fusion for Document Security ( Banknote and Document Inspectionand Analysis) and Automation (Machine Conditioning and Flaw Diagnosis). Since 2007 the research group is part of the Institute Industrial IT - inIT.
