Close integration of scientific expertise and business practice

"Objective Quality Pizza": Research collaboration between Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG and TH OWL takes stock of initial findings.

Around a year after the start of their strategic collaboration, representatives from Dr. Oetker and TH OWL took stock of the situation at a steering committee meeting. The meeting took place at the Future Food Factory OWL and in the new bakery technology premises at the Innovation Campus Lemgo.

The exchange focused on a joint review of the project's progress to date and the further development of the collaboration. The TH OWL project team presented its work results in the form of live sessions directly at the demonstrators. This gave the steering committee a practical insight into the developments to date and allowed it to gain an impression of the dynamics and high degree of innovation involved in the collaboration.

The participants emphasised the particular added value of the close integration of scientific expertise and entrepreneurial practice. After the first year, it is clear that the partnership is providing important impetus for research, development and technological innovation in the field of food production.

The discussion concluded with a positive outlook for the next phases of the project. Both partners reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding the successful cooperation and jointly setting new technological and scientific priorities.
