‘What excites me about ILT.NRW is the close cooperation between different disciplines. By exchanging methods, expertise and modern infrastructure, we are working together to create new approaches for greater food safety and hygiene,’ says Sebastian Ulrich, expressing his enthusiasm about the future collaboration at ILT.NRW.
Professor Ulrich studied veterinary medicine and earned his doctorate in veterinary medicine. He then qualified as a specialist veterinarian for meat hygiene. Before accepting the position at OWL University of Applied Sciences, he habilitated in infectious medicine at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. The collaboration with Professor Ulrich and his team has already begun and has already proven to be extremely fruitful and promising, according to the institute.
His scientific expertise as a microbiologist, veterinarian, infectious disease specialist and hygiene expert ideally complements the ILT.NRW's profile of expertise – as do the practical experience and specialist focus of his team.
