Microsoft Windows / Office 365:

Microsoft software is provided free of charge to students at (TH) OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Information on downloading all available Microsoft software can be found on the S(kim) website HERE after logging in with your username/password.

ZUB Systems EnEV software:

ZUB Systems GmbH supports us by providing free software for EnEV 2009, DIN V 18599, and energy consulting, thermal bridges, and moisture analysis. Students can obtain vouchers for program activation and further information from Prof. Dr. Schwickert's staff in room 6.017, Department of Building Physics.

Nemetschek Vectorworks:

A free educational version of Vectorworks can be requested on the campus portal on the Computerworks website www.computerworks.de. When registering, please use your student email address from the (TH) OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts (vorname.nachname@stud.th-owl.de) and your current enrollment certificate as an image file or PDF.

Autodesk AutoCAD / Revit / 3DSMax / Maya:

A free education version of the Autodesk software suite (AutoCAD / Revit / 3DSMax / Maya / etc.) can be requested on the Autodesk education homepage www.autodesk.de.

Lumion

A free educational version of the Lumion 3D software can be requested on the education page www.lumion3d.de.

Computers in Department 1 of the university:

For software installations or updates (Windows, MacOS, Office, Adobe CC, CAD programs) on department PCs or notebooks, please contact us, the administrators of the Design Department (FB G - IT) in room 4.019 (Bülowblock, Building 4).
The IT staff will be happy to advise and assist you with new purchases, upgrades, or repairs of PCs, notebooks, monitors, printers/scanners. You can also contact us by email: admin.g(at)th-owl.de

Private use of software/hardware (framework agreements):

OWL University of Applied Sciences has concluded a wide range of framework agreements for software/hardware/telephony, some of which can also be used privately by OWL University of Applied Sciences employees. Log in with your employee account on the S(kim) frameworkagreement page. There you will find information on Microsoft Office, Adobe software, and DFN mobile phone contracts for private use, as well as offers for hardware from DELL and Apple.
