InnovationSPIN

The InnovationSPIN is a joint project of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the district of Lippe and the Paderborn-Lippe district craftsmen's association. Here, education, applied research and skilled trades are networked under one roof. The joint use of laboratories and creative space concepts promote the exchange between teaching, research, business and crafts. Gastronomic offerings, an open design, exhibitions and seminars invite citizens to exchange ideas.

Future Food Factory OWL

In the Future Food Factory OWL, the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences and Arts will develop creative approaches and solutions for future-oriented technologies in the food industry together with partners from business, science and the skilled trades. Small and medium-sized enterprises as well as founders will find the necessary infrastructure here to research and profitably implement creative solutions.

The Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences and Arts new building for the Department of Life Science Technologies.

The new building will house modern laboratories, seminar rooms and two lecture halls equipped with the latest technology. Life Science Technologies includes the fields of study Food Technology, Industrial Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Technology of Cosmetics and Detergents as well as Medical and Health Technology.

The Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences and Arts new building for the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics.

The modern new building will contain state-of-the-art seminar rooms, laboratories and workshops. Here, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering with its 12 different courses of study and the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics with 7 courses of study will advance teaching and research on the technologies of tomorrow.

ICL Science to Business Center

Private investors are building the ICL Science to Business Center at the Innovation Campus Lemgo. Companies, businesses and enterprises from a wide range of sectors can rent space in this research and development building and thus benefit from the exchange of ideas between them. The immediate proximity to the Technical University and other research facilities on campus make the location extremely interesting for companies.

Vocational support center (BFZ) of the district of Lippe

The district of Lippe is building a vocational training center (BFZ) between the Lüttfeld and Hanse vocational colleges on Johannes-Schuchen-Strasse. The main user of the building will be the vocational practice level of the Astrid Lindgren School (special school with a focus on "mental development"). The Lüttfeld-Berufskolleg will have a learning area with classrooms. Specialized rooms such as the wood workshop or the teaching kitchen will be used by both schools. The integrated cafeteria will be available to all users of the campus site.

Campus Kita of the Eben-Ezer Foundation

With the new Campus Kita (supported by the Eben-Ezer Foundation), the Innovation Campus Lemgo, located directly at the Hornschen Weg, gets a new day care center. The employees of the entire campus, the students as well as the residents of the district have the opportunity to have their children looked after in the immediate vicinity of their workplace, place of study and living environment. In two groups, 33 children between the ages of 0 and 6 are cared for.

Campus Meadow

Between Campusallee and Hornscher Weg, exactly between InnovationSPIN, ICL Science to Business Center and Campus Kita, things are getting green. With the Campus Wiese, the city of Lemgo is creating a new green space at the Innovation Campus Lemgo. Meadows, trees, loungers and benches, outdoor gastronomy and an event area will make the campus a place for leisure and recreation in the future. Campus Boulevard

In the future, the Campus Wiese will be framed by two new paths - Campus Boulevard West and Campus Boulevard East. Together they form the new Campus Boulevard. The two paths extend from Campusallee to Hornscher Weg and thus form a connection between the campus and the city center. At the edge of the boulevard, green spaces, rows of trees and seating are being created so that it can also be used as a place to linger or go for a walk.
