The new courses offered by the TH OWL also meet the changing requirements of companies. Prof. Dr. Jürgen Jasperneite sees this as an opportunity to better qualify young talent, as employees and managers are increasingly required to solve complex sustainability problems and achieve economic benefits through new sustainability-related ideas.
Particular attention is paid to interdisciplinary networking, as sustainable development requires new approaches and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The new initiative also includes an international impact session for sustainability at the Innovation Campus Lemgo. This lecture series offers international master's students the opportunity to deal with sustainable development and is part of the "Future World Empowerment Program" of the international master's program in Information Technology. The participants receive specialist input from professors from various departments at TH OWL and are systematically instructed in reflecting on the content.
