What expectations does the German job market have for future professionals?
As part of the Talks on Future World Empowerment series, international students met at the Speakers Corner of the Centrum Industrial IT (CIIT) to discuss career entry, workplace culture, and professional expectations in Germany.
Guest speaker Prof. Rahman Jamal, invited by Prof. Jürgen Jasperneite, shared perspectives on current developments in engineering and IT and discussed the role of graduates in an international working environment.

Beyond technical qualifications, proactive engagement and personal initiative play an important role in the German job market. Activities outside formal studies, such as voluntary or community involvement, were discussed as possible ways to demonstrate social and intercultural competence. - Purpose and responsibility
Participants reflected on the importance of understanding not only how technologies are developed, but why they are applied, particularly with regard to societal and sustainable impact. - Diversity in the workplace
Cultural diversity was addressed as a relevant factor in international teams, contributing different perspectives to problem-solving and innovation.
