The group's R&D projects focus on intelligent information systems with innovative interaction techniques in various contexts, such as Work 4.0, industrial production, or innovative teaching / learning methods. A key focus is on integrating modern AI technologies—particularly explainable AI and large language models—into business applications, such as for decision support, process control, or optimization.

KI-InnOMATiV aims to facilitate the onboarding of new employees in public administrations, particularly in environments where people with diverse support needs work together.
