AutoSPEG

Development of an automated measurement procedure using spectrometer technology for the detection of off-flavoured boar meat

Goal: With the help of spectroscopic measuring methods, an automated inline analysis system will be developed that detects significant odour abnormalities in boars directly at the slaughter line. For this purpose, suitable sensors, industrial robots and software systems are being developed to ensure that odour-causing carcasses are rejected.
