Welcome
The IDS – Institute for Design Strategies supports the transformation of architecture and planning disciplines toward a responsible and sustainable design of human habitats. To this end, it explores the interactions between people and space, develops strategies for achieving a climate-resilient built environment, and leverages the potential of digitalization for innovative approaches. The institute was founded in 2021 as an evolution of the research clusters urbanLab, nextPlace, constructionLab, and perceptionLab.
