Exchange students

Step 1

The first step, contact the International Office of your home university and apply for the exchange program. The International Office of your university will then contact us and nominate you for an exchange semester at TH OWL. You can find the contact person at TH OWL below. We will inform the corresponding department about your nomination and request your admission for an exchange semester. Once this is received, you will receive detailed application information and instructions via our mobility platform SoleMOVE.

Step 2

After your nomination has been accepted, and you have received an email from TH OWL, submit your application documents as well as the other required documents within the application period via our online mobility platform SoleMOVE. Your application documents will be checked for completeness by the International Office, and you will then receive an admission letter by e-mail with further important information on enrollment.

Step 3

Your Learning Agreement will be forwarded by the International Office to the relevant department for review of the desired course selections. If course selections in the Learning Agreement cannot be completed, changes will be settled between you and the department. TH OWL can process online learning agreements.

Step 4

Send the application for enrollment to our Enrollment Office. You will then receive all information regarding the semester fee as well as the documents required for enrollment. This also includes a sufficient proof of insurance.
