Alberta-OWL Cooperation
Through the Alberta OWL Partnership, universities in OWL (Ostwestfalen-Lippe, Germany) and educational institutions in Edmonton (Canada) are collaborating to exchange and advance knowledge. The partnership focuses on close, interdisciplinary collaboration in research, as well as student and intern exchanges. Through multilateral relationships among all participating partners, the strengths of both regions are to be complemented, combined, and expanded.
Students at TH OWL have the opportunity to study at one of the four partner institutions. Please check the websites of the partner universities to see which degree program best fits your degree program.
Once a year, by January 15, you can submit an application at the TH OWL International Office for an exchange spot in the fall semester (September through December) or winter semester (January through April).

MacEwan University is Edmonton’s downtown university, offering a transformative education in a collaborative and supportive learning environment. The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology is a university offering technical and applied education. 28,000 students across six campuses are enrolled in undergraduate and applied degree programs, as well as training courses. NAIT offers programs in the following fields: business, natural sciences, technology, and health sciences.

The region is also a popular tourist destination thanks to its world-famous Banff and Jasper National Parks in the Rocky Mountains.
