Hardware Lab

In the StartUpLab@FH project funded by the BMBF, the focus is on creating spaces for trying out and generating ideas as well as prototyping labs for founders in the growth cores of food technology and intelligent automation, where both the necessary technical equipment (hardware and software) and professional support and advice are significantly strengthened. This will enable the founders to put their ideas into practice more quickly, test them and let them mature into a product concept. In a central contact point, all founders of the Ostwestfalen Lippe University of Applied Sciences and Arts will also receive interdisciplinary training in entrepreneurial thinking and can validate and further develop their business model in a scientifically sound manner. Connected to the existing co-working space, an InnovationLab will be created for this purpose, which will also be equipped with IT and start-up-specific software as needed. Furthermore, new curricular and extracurricular formats are offered to raise awareness and support for start-ups, such as the Master's degree programme in Applied Entrepreneurship and the VirtualStartUp program.
