The design of high-performance machines for the power machine industry (e.g. piston machines, turbo engines), the processing machine industry (e.g. packing, timber processing, printing machines etc.) and the automotive, agricultural machine and plantmaking industries not only relies on static but also on dynamic parameters. The knowledge of the dynamic interaction of forces and movements in the respective machines and/or machine components and their vibrational behaviour are taught in the machine dynamics, measuring technology and higher skills courses and consolidated by experiments and a practical training in the machine measuring technology laboratory. A practically relevant instruction using the proper measuring equipment is part of the course. A laboratory with modern equipment and the appropriate measuring instruments, measuring and simulation systems allows a proper registration of measuring data.
