The idea behind the startup pub is to create a relaxed setting where entrepreneurs can network and make valuable connections. The event is organized by Campus Foundery OWL, the startup center at TH OWL.
The collaboration with STUNT Coworking Space and the “In Zukunft Detmold” project brought a breath of fresh air and new momentum: While STUNT Space stands out for its modern infrastructure and innovative environment, the “In Zukunft Detmold” project creates a unique setting by revitalizing vacant properties and fosters creative exchange in the region.
A special highlight of the evening was the presentation by the guest speakers from Detmolder Design Woche e.V. Johannes Homann, co-founder and board member of the Detmold Design Week Association, and Helena Reister, coordinator of Detmold Design Week 2024, provided insights into plans to establish an association that will organize the annual event on a volunteer basis.
Detmold Design Week itself—a week-long event held in vacant spaces throughout Detmold—brings art and design into the urban landscape and transforms the city into a vibrant hub for creative minds. Guests at the startup pub event were enthusiastic about the diverse opportunities this association offers to further strengthen the local creative scene.
The team at the Startup Center is looking forward to inviting everyone to the next “Gründungskneipe” soon: The event continues in Lemgo on Tuesday, November 26! The “Gründungskneipe” takes place monthly, alternating between Detmold and Lemgo, and offers an interesting evening for anyone interested in inspiring conversations and making new connections.
