The winning project will receive a professionally produced corporate video, providing important support for future visibility and market entry. The project focuses on a recyclable, dismantlable building concept that is both energy-efficient and suitable for everyday use. TH OWL supports the young company in the background with scientific expertise. This includes specialist planning, structural design, sustainable construction technology, and the design of energy-efficient building technology.
Once the first modular houses have been built and occupied, the university will also carry out extensive monitoring: climate data, energy consumption, and other operating parameters will be measured and evaluated. The results will be directly incorporated into the further development of the concept.
A central goal of the project is to create buildings that can be completely dismantled and reused at the end of their life cycle. This would be an important step toward a construction revolution toward resource-saving, circular solutions.
Since all ERDF-funded projects were eligible to submit applications, reaching the final is a particular success.
Now every vote counts: until Monday, December 1, a public online vote will decide which project receives the video award. TH OWL is therefore calling on students, employees, partner organizations, and all interested parties to vote for the modular reusable house.
