This year's Kuteno and KPA in Bad Salzuflen is over!

This year, the two trade shows featured more than 500 exhibitors. For the first time, TH OWL was able to exhibit at the trade show with the Faculty of Production and Engineering. Our booth staff—Jens Mannel, André Springer, and Lutwin Spix—had many productive conversations.

As part of the lecture series “Qualification Power for Plastics in OWL,” Prof. Dr. André Springer and Dr. Lutwin Spix presented the faculty’s degree programs, with a particular focus on the modules in plastics engineering.

The highlight was our student tour. We visited the exhibition booths of “BARLOG Plastics,” “Oskar Lehmann,” “KraussMaffei Technologies,” “digicolor Gesellschaft für Kunststoffmaschinentechnik,” and the company “Lohner Kunststoffrecycling.”

The company representatives provided us with information about their companies, technology, and job opportunities. Student interest was high, and the exchange was lively. Feedback from students: It was incredibly exciting to see that much of the content from the lectures is relevant in practice.

Many thanks to the “Kunststoffe in OWL” association for the opportunity to exhibit at the booth and for the flawless organization of the presentations and the tour.
