The journey was made sustainably by public transport and provided opportunities for extensive conversations and discussions both before and after the trade fair visit.
At the trade fair, they attended specialist presentations and visited exhibition stands together. Numerous applications and practical examples were used to show the students that maintenance management combines the topics of sustainability, digitalization, and artificial intelligence like no other subject. The visit to the trade fair was rounded off with a joint tour of the fair, which was offered by the Fraunhofer Institute. This allowed the students to perfectly complement the knowledge they had acquired in their lectures.
Once again, the importance of maintenance and the associated training in this field for the future success of industrial manufacturing was emphasized.
