Master's degree in "Production and Management" with two specializations, "Production Systems" and "Wood Technology," enrollment starting in the 2024/25 winter semester:
- Starting in the 2024/25 winter semester, enrollment in the Master's program in Production and Management will be available with two specializations: Production Systems (see the course schedule here) and Wood Technology (see the course schedule here). The examination regulations with the study plan at the end can be found here. These SPO apply in conjunction with the general section 2021 (link) and its first amendment (link).
Master's programs in "Production and Management" and "Industrial Engineering in the Wood Industry":
- The two master's programs "Production and Management" in the SPO 2019 and "Industrial Engineering in the Wood Industry" in the SPO 2019 are being phased out. The courses for these two master's programs were offered for the last time in the summer semester of 2024. You can find out which modules will be continued under the same or a different name in the "new" master's program "Production and Management" in the SPO 2024 here for PUM students and here for students of Industrial Engineering in the Wood Industry. The opportunity to take module exams and complete a thesis/colloquium after SPO2019 will only be available until the winter semester 2025/26, i.e., the last exams will take place in the January 2026 exam period. From the summer semester 2026 (i.e., from March 1, 2026), it will no longer be possible to graduate (including master's thesis and colloquium!) according to SPO2019, but only according to the new master's examination regulations SPO2024. A change from students previously enrolled in the Master's program "Production and Management" of SPO2019 to the specialization "Production Systems" of SPO2024 and from students enrolled in "Industrial Engineering in the Wood Industry" of SPO2019 to the specialization "Wood Technology" of SPO2024 is possible in principle, However, the course schedule is different and not all modules are eligible for recognition.

Expired examination regulations:
Master's program "Production Engineering and Management":
- At the end of the winter term 2024/25, the degree program "Production Engineering and Management" will expire in accordance with the statutes on the discontinuation of the Master's degree program (Verkündungsblatt TH-OWL). The courses of the Master's program "Production Engineering and Management" were offered for the last time in the summer term of 2024. The possibility of examinations and theses in this master's program will probably be given until the end of the winter term 2025/26. This means that the last exams will take place in January 2026, and from March 1, 2026, it will no longer be possible to graduate in the master's program "Production Engineering and Management." Students enrolled in the PEM master's program can only continue their studies after March 1, 2026, in the "new" master's program "Production and Management, specialization in Production Systems," but it is therefore mandatory that students who have not obtained their admission requirements (bachelor's degree) at a German-speaking institution prove at least level C 1 in German according to the European Reference Framework for Languages. However, the new study program will be different; it is not a double-degree program and not all modules can be transferred.
