Who is the degree program suitable for?

For graduates of a bachelor's degree program in engineering—especially in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related degree programs—who want to specialize and qualify for demanding responsibilities in industry and research.

The master’s program offers a wide range of options. You can choose from a broad selection of required electives and develop management and leadership skills. Details on the individual modules can be found in the Master’s in Mechanical Engineering curriculum.

If you manage your studies independently, you can pursue the master’s program on a part-time basis. Depending on the model you choose, this may result in an extension of your study duration.

Curriculum

Our degree programs are designed for on-campus attendance. Classes are held Monday through Friday according to your schedule. This ensures that all your courses do not overlap. In most cases, you can limit your attendance to 3-4 days per week by choosing your elective courses.

However, we also offer extensive online support. Many courses are available online and provide you with the necessary materials to study at your own pace. This does not completely replace attending in-person classes, but it does help you complete your degree program on time while balancing a part-time job and childcare.

After submitting an application, you must complete matriculation.

First, you apply for a place at university. After the application deadline, the TH reviews your application and, if successful, sends you a letter of acceptance.

Once you have accepted your place, you will then formally complete matriculation in the degree program. The Enrollment Office will inform you of the documents required for this when you are admitted. This way, you won't forget anything! Matriculation is carried out by the TH's Enrollment Office. Your contact person is:
