Several steps are required to use the Cisco Webex software: Activation, procurement, installation and initial setup of the software. In this section, we will show you the basics, without which you will not be able to use the software. In the “Useful features” section below, we show you the set-up steps that add practical functions to Webex in the context of smooth communication and collaboration.
Mobile apps for smartphone and tablet
You can also install and use the Cisco Webex software on mobile devices (smartphone, tablet). For procurement, use the links listed below to the Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) web stores in a new web browser window/tab. Alternatively, you can also search for "Webex" in the respective web store.
"Cisco Webex" in the App Store (Apple)
Good to know: Do not confuse the "Webex" software in the App Store with the older, discontinued "Webex Meetings" software.
