Setting up the User Certificate in Android Chrome
The user certificate must be installed in the web browser in order to gain access to exam registration with the web browser. The following explains how to install the certificate:

Installation of the certificate
To access the Student Portal, please install the university certificate (EduCert.p12)
It is important that you under the point: Use of login data: VPN and Apps.
- Select certificate: Tap on the downloaded certificate.
- Extract certificate: Enter your password for your user access
- Name the certificate: Select the use for VPN and apps and tap OK
Check
- Check that the certificate has been installed correctly by calling up the following URL: https://secure.th-owl.de
- If an error message appears, there is still a problem.
- If the text "Mit gültigem zertifikat verbunden" ("Connected with a valid certificate!) appears, the certificate has been installed correctly in the web browser.
- Please note: After installing the certificate, login only works with the standard Android browser Chrome.
