Love Data Week is an international campaign week that focuses on research data and how it is handled. It takes place every year during the week around Valentine's Day, and the theme for 2026 is “Where's the Data?”. TH OWL will also be actively participating again this year.
Transfer does not work without FAIR data! This thesis will be explored in depth in the online event “Research data in TransFAIR – Building bridges between science and practice” organized by Münster University of Applied Sciences, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, and TH OWL.
Transfer and the FAIR principles are considered together, thus linking data and knowledge transfer between universities and external institutions with research data management. The event will provide useful tips for FAIR data practices, discuss the opportunities and obstacles for transfer, and present examples of existing data bridges. TransFAIR focuses on building bridges between science and practice, theory and application, research and society.
In addition to researchers as the main target group, the FDM community, employees from university transfer institutions, and interested parties from society and industry are also welcome to attend!
