There may be very brief interruptions or slightly longer response times for certain IT services on Friday, September 4, between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. However, this should have little to no noticeable impact on normal operations.
Various IT services could be affected, such as telephone services, Webex video conferences, or platforms like the eCampus (ILIAS) learning platform and the KIS portal.
This is due to maintenance work on the virtualization environment, which is intended to improve reliability. Since numerous IT services rely on this environment, the potential impact could extend to many different services. As mentioned above, however, we expect any potential impact to be barely noticeable.
