smartFoodTechnologyOWL
The Partnership smartFoodTechnologyOWL uses the potentials of Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 technology to link up the until now separate systems of the food industry, creating integrated value-added and production chains.
Through newly-developed product and production approaches it should be possible to improve the quality and product safety of food products as well as strengthening the sustainability and profitability of the production processes. Further aims are:
- To increase the transparency for the consumer
- To increase the competitiveness of the food industry
The same applies to the food market, where new services and business models such as online trading are already at present being created.
