Welcome at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts, dear freshmen!

On this page you will find all important information, links and contact persons concerning the start of your studies at TH OWL. To ensure that all new students have a good start to their first semester, fresher's welcome events will be held at our campuses and locations on September 23, 2024. The venue for the first semester welcome event depends on the department in which you are enrolled on your degree course.

  • Lemgo: Monday, September 23, 2024, 10-11 a.m. (Phoenix Contact Arena)
  • Detmold: Monday, September 23, 2024, 10-11 a.m. (Concert Hall of the University of Music)
  • Höxter: Monday, September 23, 2024, 10-11 a.m. (TH OWL building/room 5.000)
  • Herford: Friday, September 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. (Start-Up Lounge at the BildungsCampus)

Availability during the first semester week

From September 23 to 25, 2024, you can reach the Student Service Center in person at all three locations from 12 noon to 2 p.m. as well as by email. You can reach us again by telephone at the usual times from September 25, 2024.
