Chemistry, distance learning
NOTE: This study program is expiring! Starting with winter semester 20/21, enrollments in the first semester and new enrollments in higher semesters are NO longer possible!
The distance learning Bachelor's degree in Chemistry is designed for laboratory workers and technical assistants working in the chemical field, and has been offered in coordination with the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences since fall of 2015. This distance learning program is accredited by AQAS e.V. and licensed by the state Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht (ZFU - Central Office for Distance Learning).

Entry requirements
If you have a secondary school leaving certificate, you must be able to verify at least three years of relevant professional experience before beginning the distance learning program.
You will be awarded 30 ECTS points for your practical experience based on your training and your relevant professional experience.
Furthermore, you may be credited for any degree program you have already begun/completed. The examination committee will make a decision on the credits you will receive after you are admitted. However, you are welcome to compare your work in advance with our module handbook and complete and submit the form to request that your past work be credited.
