Master of Integrated Architectural Design
This consecutive, four-semester Master's program teaches students creativity with a high degree of social and intellectual maturity. In addition, students will collect practical and theoretical research experience, and will improve their ability to engage in dialog and work on a team through joint analysis and discussion.
Now more than ever, planning methods are being measured against the standard of sustainability. This includes protecting existing resources by maintaining and developing building structures, while also developing more energy-efficient new buildings that conserve resources. Digital technologies have also changed the field of architecture from design to planning and manufacturing as well as implementation, resulting in all new career paths. Our Master's program meets these new requirements by placing energy-efficient, resource-saving design, planning and construction – in particular using theoretical and practical expertise gained from digital analytic, design, planning and production methods – in the foreground of a comprehensive architectural education.
Graduates will be qualified to work both in the private sector and in public sector positions. They may apply for careers at private architecture, engineering and planning firms as well as companies, research institutions and universities.
In addition, they may also enter into specialized technological fields such as investigating current software applications and simulation technologies, researching new production methods and design or material innovations.
