Business Psychology
How do people experience work? How do they behave? These are the questions you will address as a business psychologist. In addition, you deal specifically with the human-centered digitization of services and on administration and production processes. With a focus on digital transformation and sustainable business practices, the degree program opens the door to the smart economy.

A Degree Program with a Future
The bachelor exam can also be supplemented by a one-semester internship semester for 30 ECTS.
You will bring one of the following educational backgrounds:
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur)
- Specialized university entrance qualification
- Advanced technical college certificate (Fachhochschulreife)
- Vocational qualification
The six-week internship must be completed by the end of the 3rd semester (by February 28th of the specific year).

Our six-semester bachelor’s program in Business Psychology will provide you with:
- basic knowledge of psychology, economics, and research methods
- selected skills for performing specialized and managerial tasks in companies, public institutions, and other organizations
- technical and methodological expertise in the analysis, implementation, evaluation, and optimization of organizational structures, processes, products, and services
- important social and personal skills, such as presentation and communication skills, that will prepare you for your professional practice
- HR and talent management: selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel
- Marketing: market research, product and service design, customer relationship management, customer experience management
- Team and organizational development: consulting, coaching, diversity management
- Digitizing production, service, and administrative processes: new forms of work and organization, competence development, new forms of leadership, HR analytics, change management, digital health management
- Digital marketing: management of customer interaction and integration into digital value creation processes, marketing analytics

Studying at Innovation Campus Lemgo

At the Innovation Campus in Lemgo, you’ll study at one of the most exciting technology hubs in North Rhine-Westphalia. Here you’ll find state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms, as well as science-to-business factories. Take, for example, the Centrum Industrial IT, where companies from across the OWL region have established branches. Or the Smart Factory OWL, which demonstrates data and AI management. At the Future Food Factory OWL—unique in Europe—similar activities take place, this time focused on food production. New Work and knowledge transfer converge at InnovationSPIN. Here, TH OWL, the district administration, and the skilled trades demonstrate transparent collaboration and a spirit that fosters innovation. In addition to the Fraunhofer IOSB-INA, the campus is also home to two vocational colleges as well as the Bundesliga handball club TBV Lemgo-Lippe. And best of all: the campus features student housing just a short walk from the university and downtown.
