Cooperative doctoral programs
Since universities of applied sciences have not traditionally been allowed to award Ph.D.s, students at the OWL University of Applied Sciences complete their dissertations in cooperation with another university. The cooperative doctoral program is designed for any academic planning to receive the majority of their dissertation advising from the OWL University of Applied Sciences. Generally, dissertation projects take a large amount of time and require a heavy workload. In the cooperative doctoral program, the OWL University of Applied Sciences supports you as you work and provides you with the structure you need.
You can complete your entire academic career, from your Bachelor’s to your Master’s and Ph.D. degrees at the OWL University of Applied Sciences.

Registration
If you enroll in a cooperative doctoral program, it is necessary that you pay the full semester fee. This allows you to take advantage of the semester ticket as well as discounted prices in the cafeteria, along with discounts offered to students outside of the university itself. Students may enroll for the summer or winter semester.
