Key elements of the programme

The first three semesters of our bilingual degree course are taught in English. You will study modules from all STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering und mathematics) in order to deal with the engineering sciences - interdisciplinary, practical and project-oriented in teams. In the 3rd semester, you choose a specialization from our engineering courses. To gain professional experience, you will complete an internship in one of the leading companies in OWL in the 4th semester.

As an international student, you will acquire a language certificate (B1/2) in German during your studies so that you can continue studying your chosen specialization in German together with your German-speaking fellow students from the 5th semester onwards.

As a German-speaking student, you will attend in-depth English courses in order to obtain a language certificate (C1) if possible and to qualify yourself professionally and academically.

Our team of experienced and motivated professors will support you along the way. In the first two semesters, you will get to know various departments and their excellently equipped teaching and research laboratories, because teaching and research go hand in hand here.
