Term dates and deadlines
Generally, the academic year in Germany is divided into two semesters called winter term ("Wintersemester") and summer term ("Sommersemester"). Each term lasts six month (adminstratively), with the lecture period comprising 15 weeks each.
Our Master's Program starts regularly in the winter term.
Term dates
Lectures and seminars regularly start at the end of September resp. at the end of March (the exact dates vary from year to year) and last 14 resp. 15 weeks. Exam periods usually take place at the end of a lecture period and before the next one starts.
