Application deadlines
The following application deadlines apply for a study place at a partner university:
- For the following winter semester: March 1st for a partner university in the EU with Erasmus + funding
- For the following summer semester: September 1st for a partner university in the EU with an Erasmus + grant
Even after these dates, it is worth asking the International Office about available places.
Application documents
Following documents are to be submitted to the International Office on time
- Application form (only Erasmus +)
- Letter of motivation in English
- CV in English
- Certificate of enrollment
- Transcript of Records
- Language certificate * of your language skills in the language of instruction (assessment test result of the TH OWL's online language offer)
- Portfolio (only department 1)
* Please note that other languages may be required when applying to the partner university.

What's next
After you have submitted your application documents to the International Office, we can nominate you at the host university. Only then you will be able to apply to most of the host universities. At the same time, you must also observe the application deadlines at the host universities.
We will inform you about the status of your application approximately 2-4 weeks after the application deadline. If there are more applications than places at a partner university and your application for your first choice has not been successful, we will discuss alternatives with you.
The application for an exchange place at an Erasmus + partner university is also an application for funding from the Erasmus + program.
The funding programs listed below are generally available. Some funding programs can be combined with one another. Please inform yourself about the possible combinations in the International Officen.

Application deadlines

- For the following summer semester: July 1.
