The subject area of business information systems focuses on the development and use of information systems in companies.
We consider concepts, methods and tools on topics, such as the following:
- Human-centered intelligent information systems
- Aritificial intelligence (AI) in information systems
- Interaction technologies
- Innovative approaches to the development and integration of business applications
- Modeling of business processes and information systems
- Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Augmented analytics incl. data warehouse solutions, data mining, machine learning, big data approaches, large language models and eXplainable AI (XAI) for data-driven decision support and automation
- Groupware: support for collaborative working and learning
- Information system architectures and database technologies
- IT project management and agile development methods
