The subject area of business information systems focuses on the development and use of information systems in companies. 

We consider concepts, methods and tools on topics, such as the following:

  • Intelligent information systems with innovative interaction techniques

  • Innovative approaches to the development and integration of business applications

  • Modeling of organizations, business processes, and information systems

  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems

  • Data warehouse solutions, data mining, machine learning, and big data approaches for data-driven decision support and automation

  • Groupware: support for collaborative working and learning

  • Information system architectures and database technologies

  • Project management, knowledge management, and agile development methods
